Hotel Pic of the Week: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi – another amazing hotel

Kempinski Hotel Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. is clearly one of the most luxurious hotels world-wide.
For a start, it’s massive and exceeds 7000 sqm of meeting room capacity. It is also surrounded by 85 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens. The hotel features 1.3 km of private white sandy beach, ideal for sunbathing during the European winter.
If you don’t stay in one of the over 300 rooms and 92 suites, go and have an afternoon tea at Le Café & Caviar Bar at lobby level. I’d try the gold drizzled Black Forrest Chocolate Cake. It’s THE cake for chocolate lovers. Promise!

Hotel Pic of the Week: I wish I could stay here forever – Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Public holiday in Germany tomorrow and since the weather is terrible I remembered my day on Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. Sunshine, blue sea, water sports… what more could you wish for? Except to be able to stay there forever…

Half Moon Cay is owned by cruise company Holland America Line, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & PLC. It is usually a one-day port of call on most Holland America Caribbean cruises. Holland America purchased the island in 1997. Activities include swimming, scuba diving, jet-skiing, cycling, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, glass-bottom boat rides and nature walks.

Happy long weekend, everyone!

Hotel Pic of the Week: AquaDom, Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin

Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin. The attraction of this hotel is the AquaDom located in the lobby – at 25 meters high the largest, cylindrical aquarium of the world. Hotel rooms look onto the centre piece of this 4-star hotel which is located in the city centre of Berlin and in walking distance of Berlin Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt, Unter den Linden and Brandenburg Gate. It’s even possible to dive inside the AquaDom – spectacular!
